INTRODUCTION


SMS means "short messaging system". People use the word SMS to send messages to people using their cellphones. Usually, the use of SMS an English-speaking country. Often, ESL students are people who came to live in an English-speaking country, and do not speak English very well.


ESL Tour Program is a tourist activity in which the study of English as a second language forms part of a structured tour package. The study of English becomes more exciting and fun through dynamic and creative ways of learning where participants get to interact, practice and use English more often in real-life settings thru games, outdoor activities, excursions and immersions. Aside from learning the English language, participants get to see the beautiful sceneries of the Philippine countryside and immerse with the local culture.


The Philippines is still the best place to learn English as far as the Korean student market is concerned. While the Philippines is not a native English-speaker country, the cheaper cost of English-based education here is a major come-on to Koreans. The Department of Tourism (DOT) shared that over 100 thousand Koreans flew to the country last year for various English as a Second Language (ESL) programs and other study tours.


Students took up 17 percent of the 653,310 Koreans who came to the country in 2007. ESL programs from schools based in Baguio, Manila, Iloilo, Cagayan Valley and Cebu are currently the most popular.


The Korean overseas study market can be broken down in three categories. The first group comprises of youth who enroll in two-month ESL programs that coincide with their summer or winter breaks.
