Energy Conservation is very important in our lives today, because without energy how would many of us make a living or survive. Energy Conservation is important that every individual to stay part in conserving energy. We all use energy in many different ways such as; keeping our homes cool and warm, cooking, and using electricity. There are many ways in which we can start conserving energy. “Energy is the practice of decreasing the quantity of energy used. It may be achieved through efficient energy use, in which case energy is decreased while achieving a similar outcome, or by reduced consumption of energy services.” There are many resources the we need to save for our future. Just like oil, natural gas, coal, and water are some of the things that we need to save for our future. Some of these resources do pollute the environment so that is why we need to find other ways to protect the energy that we used daily. There are two types of energy resources that we used everyday. One is non-renewable resources and the other is renewable energy resource. When it comes to renewable resources such as; water, wind, biomass, and nuclear power these resources take many years to keep them were we have them forever. Solar energy is one of the biggest renewable resource that we have. This source is form from the earth and when solar panels collect sunlight. Many of these resources will make less pollution in the air. Non-renewable resources that we have like natural gas, coal, and nuclear power take many years to create and without these resources it would be hard for our environment.
